TRADE MARKETING & CATEGORY ANALYST ( F/M/D)
Responsibilities
Analyse customer KPIs and market data to recommend retailer assortment, pricing, and merchandising strategies (in-store and online).
Develop and lead shopper marketing programs across customer-owned platforms (websites, apps, email, loyalty, and in-store).
Provide clear guidance on merchandising and shelf solutions to enhance shoppability and category performance.
Evaluate trade spend, promotional effectiveness, and ROI, ensuring optimal use of the shopper marketing budget.
Build impactful customer selling stories and support line reviews to drive sales, visibility, and product trial.
Co-lead category and shelf management projects tailored to key retail partners.
Produce and interpret SAP-based sales and product reports, delivering monthly insights on retail accounts and identifying market opportunities or risks.
Work closely with Sales Brokers, demo teams, shopper marketing vendors, and external data partners such as Circana.
Qualifications
Master/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; focus on Marketing or Sales is a plus.
Minimum 3 years' experience in Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Category Management, or Sales within FMCG
Strong understanding of shopper behaviour, shopper data, and key retail customer processes.
Proven analytical skills; proficient with Excel and familiar with IRI, Nielsen, or other data sources (MS Access is a plus).
Solid project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong business writing proficiency.
Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills; comfortable working in matrix environments.
Demonstrated leadership, negotiation ability, and holistic, critical thinking.
