Job Description

Join a dynamic team within Chanelle Pharma's Key Accounts division, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving growth and strengthening customer partnerships. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Trade National Key Account Manager will oversee key trade accounts, manage tenders and contracts, and lead conversion to the Chanelle Pharma portfolio. This role offers flexibility in account allocation based on experience and represents a significant revenue stream. We're seeking a proactive, commercially minded individual with proven experience in managing large animal health trade accounts and strong business and financial acumen.

Work Environment:

Combination of remote work and frequent field-based travel.

As our Trade National Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the following:



Deliver sales, profit, and growth targets for key accounts in alignment with overall company objectives.

Identify and pursue Made to Order (MTO) opportunities, including planning, securing, and executing successful product launches.

Actively support product launch initiatives by attending meetings, resolving outstanding queries, and ensuring smooth execution.

Secure product listings, buy-ins, and long-term commitments for Chanelle Pharma products within key accounts.

Strengthen Chanelle Pharma's market presence by cultivating strategic, mutually beneficial relationships with key customers.

Prepare and execute negotiation strategies that balance business objectives with maintaining strong, collaborative customer relationships.

Build and maintain relationships across all levels of designated accounts, extending beyond procurement teams.

Develop and implement comprehensive business plans for key accounts, identifying growth opportunities and execution tactics.

Monitor account performance against budgeted targets and provide accurate forecasts to support consistent product supply.

Generate detailed reports on net sales and profit margins to inform current activities and future strategies.

Collaborate with the Technical Support Manager to ensure optimal use of technical resources and measurable ROI within key accounts.

Use internal margin tools to craft commercially viable proposals that align with both customer needs and company profitability goals.

Work cross-functionally with internal teams and wholesalers to meet or manage customer expectations effectively.

Partner with the National Sales Manager to maximise tender outcomes and promotional activities at store level.

Identify underperforming products and communicate targeted improvement strategies to the National Sales Manager.

Liaise with the Data Manager to support accurate and timely monthly rebate processing.

Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions and agreements within the CRM system.

Ensure rebate terms for all designated accounts are accurately documented and accessible.

Coordinate with the Business Operations team to track and update changes in National Account membership.

Leverage Salesforce data to analyse buying patterns and monitor account performance.

Maintain a strong understanding of Chanelle Pharma's product portfolio and technical specifications.

Proactively develop new partnerships to position Chanelle Pharma as a preferred supplier for future business opportunities.



Education & Experience:



Recent experience (within the last 3 years) managing Large Animal Health key accounts.

Proven success in building and sustaining profitable long-term relationships in the Large Animal Health sector.

AMTRA/NOAH qualification (preferred but not essential).

Degree qualification (preferred but not essential).

Willing to travel regularly across the UK and occasionally to Head Office in Loughrea, Ireland.

Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
