Average 42 hours per week (alternating 40/44 hours). Monday-Friday 7.30am-4.30pm / 8am-5pm, with alternate Saturdays 9am-1pm.

We're looking for a

confident, customer-focused Sales Consultant

to join our small, dedicated team. The role combines

retail showroom sales

with

trade sales support

, giving you variety and the chance to work with a wide range of customers.

What You'll Do

Retail Showroom Sales

Welcome customers and provide expert advice and inspiration. Guide homeowners through product choices to bring their projects to life. Prepare accurate quotes, process sales, and arrange orders. Use maths skills to calculate tile quantities and coverage. Keep the showroom looking its best with fresh, engaging displays.

Trade Sales

Build strong relationships with local tradespeople, installers, and developers. Handle trade enquiries in-store, by phone, and occasionally on-site. Provide technical advice, competitive pricing, and delivery support. Proactively identify and connect with new trade customers in the area.

What We're Looking For

Great communication skills and a genuine interest in helping people. Experience in sales, retail, customer service, or trade counter roles. Comfortable working with both retail and trade customers. Confident with numbers -- able to measure and calculate accurately. Organised, proactive, and a real team player. Computer literate and quick to learn new systems. Physically fit and happy to help with lifting tile products. Full UK driving licence (preferred) for occasional trade visits/deliveries.
