Job Description
A vacancy has arisen for a full-time Trade Counter Sales Assistant working as part of the team at our Chester branch following an internal promotion.
Your key responsibilities will include:
You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service at all times.
Serving our customers politely and professionally at all times
Keeping the shop clean and tidy
Storing Stock safely and ensuring that the shop is a safe and secure environment
. Checking incoming goods against supplier's delivery notes
. Providing excellent customer service always
You will need to be:
A flexible team player who can also work on their own initiative
Able to communicate with our customers
Approachable, positive and polite
Motivated, energetic and passionate about your work
Able to learn and advise customers on suitable products
. Previous sales experience in a Builders Merchant or building trade knowledge is preferable but training will be given
Working hours are:
07.30 - 17.30 Monday to Thursday
07.30 - 17.00 Friday
1 in 4 Weekends rostered
