This post is a key operational role within our Repairs and Maintenance team, supporting trades colleagues to deliver high-quality property maintenance and improvement works. You will play an essential part in ensuring our homes are maintained to the highest standards and that customers receive excellent service.

Salary:

28,007.20

37 hours per week

Hours of work:

Mon to Thurs 8am to 4.30pm and Fri 8.00am to 1.00pm

Key Responsibilities:

Assist trades operatives in delivering repairs, maintenance, and planned improvement works. Support the delivery of programmed and cyclical services to ensure properties meet required standards. Order and manage materials on-site to maximise efficiency. Use mobile devices and IT systems to record and update job progress. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including safe working at height and use of equipment. Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good condition and report defects promptly. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring tenants and residents are kept informed. Contribute to continuous improvement and productivity targets within the team.

What We're Looking For:

Demonstrable experience in the building/construction industry. Ability to assist across multiple trades and work proactively with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, including safe use of ladders, scaffolding, and MEWP/PASMA training. Asbestos awareness and safe use of safety harnesses. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers. IT literacy, including use of mobile devices. Full UK driving licence.
