Job Summary

We're looking for a hands-on, reliable Tradesperson to join our maintenance team. This role is ideal for someone with solid technical skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for keeping operations running smoothly across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out tool changes and product setups, including submitting samples for lab testing Provide break cover for cold form presses when needed Perform planned maintenance tasks and log findings in the QAD ERP system Troubleshoot equipment and processes to ensure safety and performance Respond to breakdowns and support other trades and technicians across departments Suggest and implement improvements to boost equipment efficiency and cycle times Manage parts inventory: booking replacements and returning faulty items Support apprentices and trainees on an ad-hoc basis
Skills/Experience

Successful completion of an Apprenticeship within Mechanical Engineering or similar Minimum of 2 years experience with Manufacturing Environment

Strong problem-solving and process management skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Integrity, resilience, and a positive attitude toward change Experience working with plant and equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting Familiarity with ERP systems (QAD preferred)

Working Hours

This role operates on a 3-shift rota, which includes earlies, lates, and night shifts. Flexibility and reliability across all shift patterns are essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 40,500.00-47,000.00 per year
