We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised Traffic Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with drivers, monitor working time directive & EU drivers hours regulations to ensure compliance with regulations
- Ensure legal time frames are adhered to in relation to the recording of vehicle & driver documentation.
- Assist in arranging annual driver training.
- Schedule vehicle maintenance.
- Provide administrative assistance to depot managers.
- Monitor & record vehicle trye checks, arrange replacements where required.
- Apply for vehicle road tax.
- Assist with maintaining, ordering company lease vehicles.
- Produce daily vehicle unavailability report, liaising with maintenance providers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an office environment, with a strong ability to learn logistics and transport, and a keen desire to progress within the transport department.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of fuel industry regulations and safety standards are preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software or systems is an asset.
