Job Description

Our Traffic and Parking team plays a vital role in shaping a safer, more efficient road network through the design and delivery of impactful transport and parking schemes.
We manage a diverse portfolio of projects--from pedestrian crossings and controlled parking zones to traffic signal junctions and local safety improvements. Each initiative contributes to enhancing mobility and safety for residents and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of traffic and parking schemes under the guidance of the Principal Engineer. Assist in preparing detailed construction design packages for a variety of traffic engineering projects. Revise and update drawings to reflect design changes Ensure filing and drawing schedules are kept up to date Contribute to consultations and project implementation across the borough. Undertake site visits and measurements as required

Skills & Experience

Understanding of traffic and parking design principles. Some experience in preliminary design of traffic engineering schemes. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

is essential Familiarity with

KeySigns

and

KeyLines

is desirable.

Pay: 27.00-28.00 per hour

Traffic Engineer: 2 years (required) OR15868: 1 year (preferred)
