Traffic Light Engineer

Basic Salary:

36,465 - 38,000 per Annum Depending on Experience (Overtime paid for any out of hours jobs). Company pension.

We are seeking a motivated, organised, self-driven individual to join our rapidly growing team. You will be responsible for the turnaround of traffic signals inwards/outwards at our Pulham depot, repairs and maintenance of our fleet and project preparation. In addition, you will be required to deliver and where required install traffic lights for our customers. Willingness to work outside of normal working hours from evenings to weekends on occasion and assist with covering on call on a rota basis.

Experience:

Working within the highway industry or traffic light systems with Lantra M1/M2/M5 qualifications preferred.

Driving licence held for a minimum of a year and over the age of 21 essential.

The role will include but not be limited to:

Installations/Removals of traffic light systems Obtain a thorough understanding of the Nissen LZA and Siignal (and future products when released) traffic and pedestrian lights and all our other equipment. Assist with covering on call phone (if required and available). Premium payable. Delivery and collecting sale items or light units to/from our clients. Assisting preparing hire equipment for hire from checking over to cleaning equipment. Informing management when depot stock levels are low. Safe keeping of depot and/or vehicle keys, alarm codes and padlock combinations. General upkeep of depot. Attending site to carry out battery changes/maintenance. Actively promote ITS and drive for new business growing the existing customer base. Carry out repairs and maintenance to traffic signals and trailers.

Development:

Streetworks/Lantra training will be provided. Full training of Nissen units/Siignal units/CCTV will be provided.
This role is based out of our Norfolk depot at Pulham Market, however travel is included within the role. The tasks can include delivering, installing traffic light systems, removing, collecting traffic light systems, depot transfers or delivering sale items to ITS customer base plus overseeing the depot.
