CDTM is the trading name for the Traffic Management division of CD Fencing and Construction Services Ltd (CDF), an established infrastructure contractor delivering high-quality Traffic Management, Vehicle Restraint Systems, and Fencing services across the UK. We are looking for an experienced Traffic Management Manager to lead our TM operations, drive compliance and performance, and develop our teams.

The Role

You will oversee the programming, planning, and delivery of Traffic Management activities, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with legislation, client specifications, and CDF procedures. Acting as a key link between site teams, clients, and senior leadership, you'll manage and mentor TM Supervisors and Operatives, embedding best practice and maintaining high operational standards.

What You'll Do

Plan, programme, and deliver Traffic Management operations across multiple projects. Ensure compliance with client specifications, legislation, and CD Fencing procedures. Act as 12A/B/C/D Foreman where required, attending site visits and client meetings. Liaise with commercial and operational teams on costings, planning, and delivery. Lead workforce engagement on safety, quality, and environmental best practice. Conduct audits, inspections, and workforce briefings. Chair operational meetings and contribute to SHEQ and departmental reviews. Manage and mentor TM Supervisors and Operatives, overseeing training, performance, and welfare. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with fatigue, working time, and driver hour regulations. Oversee the use, condition, and allocation of TM vehicles, plant, and equipment.

What You'll Bring

Proven experience managing Traffic Management operations. Strong leadership and people management skills. Current NHSS 12A/B/C/D qualifications Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation. Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, accountability, and commitment to high standards.
