Job Description

As the Traffic Management Manager, you will oversee our Traffic Management Division, utilizing both in-house teams and subcontractors. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day Traffic Management programme of works, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, issuing job packs, conducting surveys, designing Traffic Management setups and plans, and handling project quotes and invoices.


What We Expect of You:







You'll take full ownership of the Traffic Management programme across Scotland and Northern England, managing both in-house teams and subcontractors. This includes planning daily works, allocating the right resource to each task, preparing and issuing job packs, and ensuring all field operatives have the information and support they need.


You'll carry out on-site surveys, design and agree traffic management plans that are both safe and efficient, and maintain compliance with all Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards. You'll also be responsible for pricing jobs accurately, preparing quotes, and generating invoices in a timely manner.


What You Will Bring:




NHSS Lantra TSCO and NHSS Lantra M7 certifications (Essential) CSCS card holder Supervisor qualification (preferred) Strong organisational and workload planning skills Proficiency in IT systems, with the confidence to adopt new tools Experience in coordinating traffic management activities for highways Sound knowledge of HSEQ standards within the highways sector Full UK driving licence Clear verbal communication skills to engage operatives, colleagues, and management
