Job Description

Andor Group specialises in construction site services and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Traffic Marshal to join our dynamic team.

This position is well-suited for an individual looking to develop their career within the construction environment, build strong on-site relationships, and play a key role in maintaining safe vehicle and pedestrian movements on a live project.

Based on site with our end customer, you will work closely with the wider site team, delivery drivers, plant operators, and Andor Group's operations team to ensure traffic management arrangements are followed, risks are controlled, and safe access/egress is maintained at all times. You will also support Andor Group in meeting agreed service levels and site requirements. This position offers genuine progression opportunities, including development into more senior operational roles through our EPS.

Responsibilities

Managing vehicle movements into and out of site, including deliveries, collections, and contractor access Directing vehicles and plant safely using clear signals, radios, and site procedures Maintaining safe separation between pedestrians, vehicles, and plant, escalating concerns immediately Supporting compliance with the site's Traffic Management Plan, RAMS, and signage/layout controls Recording key movements where required (deliveries, refusals, incidents/near misses) and reporting to site management Completing routine checks of access routes, gates, barriers, and signage, and reporting defects promptly Liaising professionally with drivers, subcontractors, and site management to keep operations running safely and efficiently

Requirements

NPORS or CPCS A73 Traffic Marshal

qualification (Essential) Experience working on a construction site in a similar role (preferred) Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with drivers and site teams A professional, safety-first attitude with excellent situational awareness Ability to follow instructions, remain calm under pressure, and challenge unsafe behaviour appropriately
Remuneration & Selection

Andor Group has a strong employee progression scheme, with many team members progressing into supervisory and operational roles. We offer an initial hourly rate of 15.00, with a review after six months of service.
