Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Traffic Marshall to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians within designated areas. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with both drivers and the public.

Duties

Direct traffic flow in and around designated areas, ensuring safety for all individuals present. Communicate effectively with drivers, providing clear instructions to facilitate smooth operations. Monitor vehicle movements and pedestrian activity to prevent accidents or congestion. Assist in setting up traffic control equipment, such as cones and barriers, as needed. Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to the appropriate authorities promptly. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while on duty.

Requirements

Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to build positive relationships with team members, drivers, and the public. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate movement between locations if necessary. Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Commitment to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
