Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Traffic Marshall to ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians on construction sites. Duties

Direct traffic flow on construction sites to ensure safety for both workers and the public. Communicate effectively with site personnel, drivers, and pedestrians to provide clear instructions. Monitor vehicle movements and assist in the safe loading and unloading of materials. Maintain a visible presence at designated points to manage traffic effectively. Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to site supervisors promptly. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in relation to traffic management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a construction environment is preferred. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly in English. A valid driving licence is desirable for potential duties involving vehicle operation. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to safety and an understanding of traffic management principles are essential.
