We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Traffic Marshall/Banksman to ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and personnel on a prestigious construction site in Luton Town Centre. This role is vital for maintaining safety protocols, coordinating traffic flow, and supporting overall project operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of construction site safety procedures. Responsibilities

Direct and control vehicle movements on construction sites to ensure safety and efficiency Communicate effectively with drivers, construction teams, and site managers to coordinate traffic flow Maintain clear signage and signals to guide vehicles and personnel Monitor site conditions continuously for potential hazards or safety violations Assist in the setup and removal of traffic control devices as needed Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during operations Support project management teams with logistical coordination as required

Skills

Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and traffic management practices CPCS A73 or NPORS N403 is essential for this position. Excellent communication skills for clear instructions and coordination Ability to remain vigilant and attentive in high-pressure environments Knowledge of project scheduling, construction management, and system design principles is a plus Experience with transportation planning, civil engineering concepts, and technical writing enhances effectiveness in this role Basic understanding of project engineering and construction management processes is beneficial
