Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and attentive Traffic Marshall/Banksman to oversee vehicle and pedestrian movement on construction sites. CPCS A73 or NPORS N403 is required for this position. This role is essential for maintaining safety, ensuring efficient traffic flow, and supporting project operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for safety, and familiarity with construction management practices. Prior experience with project scheduling, system design, and civil engineering concepts is required This position offers an opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects while working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around construction zones or transportation sites to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Assist in coordinating project activities by communicating effectively with site personnel, drivers, and visitors. Monitor site conditions and report any safety hazards or incidents promptly. Support project management teams by facilitating smooth operations through effective traffic control measures. Maintain clear signage and barriers as required, ensuring visibility and adherence to safety standards. Document daily activities and incidents accurately for project records. CPCS A73 or NPORS N403 is required for this position.

Experience

Prior experience in construction or civil engineering projects is essential. Familiarity with transportation planning and implementation is prefered. Knowledge of project scheduling software and technical writing skills are beneficial for effective communication. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks within a construction environment while maintaining safety standards. Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs are essential for success in this role. This position is integral to the safe and efficient execution of construction projects requiring precise traffic management and coordination.
