We're a well-established general haulage company looking for a reliable and detail-oriented
Traffic Office Admin Clerk
to join our busy operations team. You'll be essential in helping our office run smoothly by undertaking compliance, communication, and payroll duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Input delivery/job details into the transport system
Maintain driver and vehicle compliance records
Monitor tachograph data using
Tachomaster
Ensure compliance with WTD and EU driving regulations
Communicate effectively with drivers and customers
Process
payroll
accurately and on time
Handle queries by phone/email professionally
Manage PODs and admin tasks (filing, scanning, data entry)
Liaise with maintenance to arrange servicing
Ensure all work complies with
DVSA
and
Health & Safety
regulations
What We're Looking For:
Experience in transport or logistics admin (preferred)
Strong understanding of tachograph and WTD rules (essential)
Excellent communication and admin skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Outlook)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with transport software is a plus
