Traffic Planner/pallet Network Planner

Job Description

Established Transport Company is looking for an experienced, dynamic Pallet Network Transport Planner to assist the day to day operation for our Pallet Network part of the business.

The role would be looking after our Pallet Network planning, 11am-7pm Monday - Friday.

However, experience in General Haulage would be a preference as assisting in General Haulage planning at times would be part of the role to ensure we have full coverage on both our General & Pallet Network Planning desks.

The successful applicant will be fully conversant within the UK road network and all necessary legislation. Being part of a friendly team this is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their career in Transport.

Using the latest Manpack software, training will be given to the successful applicant to achieve their full potential. Good computer knowledge is essential as we are looking for the right individual to help achieve our ambitions and to be part of our team.

Qualifications



Strong understanding of Logistics and Pallet Networks would be essential. Excellent computer skills, with the ability to utilize various software applications Experience in traffic planning and logistics coordination Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities



Liaise with Pallet Network Depots & Customers to plan and coordinate pallet networks effectively. Managing the Pallet Network drivers, ensuring they are delivering on time, signing off their Jobs, and meeting their scheduled ETA's. Communicating daily with the Pallet Network drivers giving out Customer Collections, dealing with delivery queries and ensuring everything is communicated and actioned accordingly. Monitor traffic patterns and adjust plans to ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate records and reports on transportation and logistics performance. Leverage computer skills to analyze data and support decision-making processes.

Pay: 26,000.00-35,000.00 per year
