What will I be doing?


As a Trainee Accountant, you'll be learning the fundamentals of accountancy and developing the skills needed for a successful career in the profession. You'll also have the chance to work across various departments, gaining exposure to different areas of our business.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts Supporting the preparation of tax returns Assisting with audits Bookkeeping tasks Payroll tasks Responding to client queries in a timely manner Supporting client meetings and site visits when needed Learning and using our accounting software and tools effectively Providing general support to the wider office team as required

Who are we looking for?


We're looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and build a long-term career in accounting. You might be a recent school leaver or college leaver (within the last two years) - if you're committed to developing your skills and gaining a professional qualification, we'd love to hear from you.

Essential requirements:



Minimum of 3 Highers at grade C or above (or equivalent), ideally including Maths, Accounts, or Business Studies Confident using Microsoft Excel Organised and able to manage multiple tasks Strong communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team Experience in a customer-facing or team-based environment (preferred but not essential)
