Job Description

Coveney Nicholls is looking for an ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Chartered Accountant. No previous experience is required, we welcome applicants from all degree disciplines or those with equivalent experience.

The role:

The successful candidate will study towards the ICAEW ACA qualification under a fully funded training agreement, inclusive of course costs, exam fees and paid study leave. Training agreements will commence after a successful trial period. The role will provide an excellent hands-on training experience with exposure to all areas of accountancy including, accounts preparation, auditing, tax compliance, tax planning and bookkeeping & management accounts preparation. The successful candidate will join a supportive team environment where they will learn from experienced professionals.

Requirements:

2:1 or higher undergraduate UK University degree is desirable, but all areas of academic and personal achievement will be considered Professional, enthusiastic and committed to the excellent delivery of our services Full clean UK Driving Licence is essential

About us:

Although small, our company has been established for approximately 30 years with its main operational office in Reigate, which is where the position will be based. We also have offices in London and East Grinstead. The majority of our client base is concentrated in London and the South East across a broad range of industries in the SME sector, although we do have a niche specialism in the medical sector and specifically the GP market. There will be a necessity to travel throughout the country and possibly include international travel from time to time.
