Trainee Accountants
Job Description
A busy accountancy practice based in Hertford, Hertfordshire are recruitng for an experienced Accounts Junior to join their friendly team on a full time, permanent basis. The ideal Accounts Assistant/ Semi Senior will have a few years experience working in an accountancy practice and will be working towards or qualified with AAT or MAAT or working towards ACCA and will be experienced in providing accounts and tax advise to businesses and individuals.
Junior / Trainee Accountant Position Overview
As an Accounts junior you will be expected to prepare financial statements in
accordance with relevant financial reporting standards from source documents/records to final
accounts for review by one of the directors.
- Prepare accounting schedules to support the balances and transactions included in the
- Work on a wide range of accounts
- Liaise with clients directly or through the relevant manager to resolve queries or obtain
- Ensure a high level of service to meet client\'s expectations
- Make timely and relevant recommendations in relation to accounting matters, financial
- Prepare control account reconciliations
Minimum 2 Years\' experience in practice in a similar role
Minimum AAT level 3, ACCA or ACA studier
IRIS software experience highly desirable
Cloud-based accounting systems knowledge including Xero, VT, Quickbooks
Strong IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel, to an intermediate level
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Junior / Trainee Accountant Position Remuneration
\xc2\xa325,000 - \xc2\xa335,000 dependant on skills and experience
09.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday
Study Support will be provided for both professional qualifications as well as work-based learning
