As a

Trainee Admin Clerk

, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training across all aspects of the freight and logistics industry. Working closely with team members, you will provide efficient administration for sea imports in the Freight team, focusing on data input, administrative tasks, and operational processes to ensure smooth and efficient handling of shipments.

What you'll do:



Learn how to accurately input of data into business systems Learn to work closely with the team and supervisor to manage your workload priorities and ensure key issues are raised on a timely basis priorities and ensure key issues are raised on a timely basis Learn how to use pre-prepared documents to create pre-alerts for shipment files Learn how to efficiently prepare shipment files for the Import operations team Learn how to prepare and deal with commercial documentation Undertake administrative tasks to support the Freight department in meeting deadlines for our customers

What we're looking for



Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office). Good literacy and numeracy. Excellent verbal and written communication. Flexible approach to work and ability to adapt to changing demands (including shifts). Experience of administration.
