Job Overview

We are currently recruiting Trainee Aircraft Mechanics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of aircraft by performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various hand and power tools. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks as required and allocated with minimal
supervision

Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks Complete the appropriate documentation Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE Maintain a safe and clean working environment Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to Any other tasks as directed by Supervisor / Manager

Experience

Previous aircraft maintenance experience is desirable, however not essential HNC / HND or equivalent qualification in engineering / mechanical is essential Background in engineering/maintenance is essential Exhibit a positive attitude with a willingness to learn Excellent spoken and written English is essential Must be willing to work shifts (including nights) Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment Successful candidate must provide a clean Disclosure Scotland to work at UK Airports All applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK
