The Company group is compiled of four organisations including A&C Aggregates Ltd, ITH Construction Ltd, Green Light Traffic Management Ltd and I&JH Leisure Ltd. Based in Pembrokeshire all organisations have a keen focus on building a strong local reputation on the quality of their products/services which can range from aggregates, concrete and asphalt, landscaping, traffic management all the way to the produce of static caravans for customers to explore what Pembrokeshire has to offer.

A & C Aggregates Ltd was first established by Director Julie Harries in the spring of 2003 and are based in Narberth along with our depots based in Bolton Hill (Haverfordwest), Pembroke Dock, Carew and Cardigan. A&C are a fast-growing organisation and have seen significant growth over the past few years. We pride ourselves on our family feel and you can now see Amy and Charlotte Harries (the inspiration for the name A&C) running the daily operations which includes providing aggregates, concrete, tarmac supply and lay, landscaping products, sand, concrete blocks and a range of other products and services throughout the West Wales area.

The Job:



We are currently seeking a Trainee Asphalt Batcher to be based in our Pembroke Dock depot in the industrial estate. You will follow direction from the plant operator who will provide you with sufficient training to provide support and take responsibility of the operation of the plant in their absence.

You will be required to help with the day-to-day duties at the plant, be able to operate the asphalt plant to cover absence and use the loading shovel to fill the bins in both the asphalt plant and our concrete plant in the same depot.

Responsibilities include:

- Operating the asphalt tar plant (training will be provided so experience is not required).

- Operating a loading shovel.

- Performing tasks such as loading vehicles and moving materials using the equipment.

- Ensuring that stocks are maintained and replenished in good time.

- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

- Ensuring high standards of housekeeping and maintenance of the plant.

The role will require a can do attitude, a flexible approach to tasks and desire to work as part of a team, a commitment to health, safety and environmental and working with other members of the team to ensure that customers get good quality material and on-time deliveries.
