Trainee Auditor
to join the audit team.

will include:
As a Trainee Auditor, initially you will be part of a larger team before taking on individual responsibility for your clients. In time you will have your own client portfolio
conducting audits as part of a wider team, ensuring appropriate and sufficient documentation is obtained to support the audit opinion
accounts preparation
prepare analysis of accounting data from clients' books and records
involvement in the planning, execution and finalisation of the audit assignment supporting the audit manager
ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements
identify and understand client needs, providing initial solutions to client challenges, then communicating these needs and solutions to the audit manager
build strong relationships with new and established clients
carry out ad hoc assignments as may be reasonably required
travel to local and national clients on a regular basis
About you
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
We are looking for dynamic individuals with a positive 'can do' attitude
Ideally you will have either GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grades 4 and above), A-Levels in either Mathematics, Business or Economics, AAT or similar qualification
You will be highly personable with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
You will have a logical approach and be good with numbers
In addition you will have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills as a minimum
Own car and full driving license
