We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and surrounding areas.
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to during food preparation and serving.
Engage with customers, taking orders efficiently while providing excellent service.
Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
Experience in food preparation is an advantage.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently.
