As a Trainee Campaign Officer, you'll learn how to take the reins on fundraising campaigns from start to finish, becoming the key contact and project manager for each client. This role is a fantastic blend of responsibilities--one day you're recruiting and training fundraising callers, and the next, you're coordinating meeting with clients or working on project details such as admin and database work in the office.

You'll get to train and lead a team of up to 50 students (either in person or over Teams), inspire and motivate your fundraising teams, and after working with your client to get everything in place you will bring each campaign to life. You'll enjoy a balance between in-office work and travelling to client sites for on-site telethons. That means getting a chance to stay at different locations with all travel, accommodation, and even a generous food allowance covered!

And while some telethons will take you to client sites, where you'll oversee the campaign action firsthand, other telethons will be run remotely, allowing you the flexibility to work from home or our office, so you will need to be happy with both of these aspects of the role.

You'll be given full training on our systems; so bring your organisational skills, a love for clear communication, and a confident approach to IT, then you will be all set.

Away from telethons most of your training will take place in our modern and friendly Bristol office. All of the preparation and wrap up work for your campaigns would be office based tasks as well, but we are currently offering hybrid working so you will also be able to work from home for part of the week, should you wish to. We are a sociable bunch who will be delighted to have another herd member to join in with our office lunches, breakfast pastry days, team drinks and other social occasions!
