Job Overview

We are seeking a Trainee CCTV Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a fair understanding of computer networking, electrionic systems, with a focus on the installation and maintenance of CCTV systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently as well as part of a team, ensuring the effective design and implementation of surveillance solutions.

Responsibilities

Be able to read a Design of CCTV Install systems tailored to client specifications and site requirements. Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, recording devices, and associated hardware. Conduct thorough inspections of existing systems to identify areas for improvement or upgrades. Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide expert recommendations. Troubleshoot technical issues related to CCTV systems, utilising hand tools, power tools and technical testing equipment as necessary. Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation and functionality of equipment. Work alongside construction teams to integrate CCTV systems into new builds or renovations. Maintain accurate documentation of system designs, installations, and maintenance activities. Send Daily Reports to the client on the progress of the completed works within the last completed shift.

Requirements

The ability to work in the UK. Be able and willing to learn on the job within a growing team of engineers. Be able to work at Night while the Airport flights are grounded and works are able to be completed. Be able to work well within a team. Background in CCTV, Intruder Alarms, telecommunications is a plus.
