Job Description

Acorns Children's Hospice Trust are looking for a Trainee Clinical Practice Educator to support the delivery of training and education across the Care Directorate, while undertaking a development programme to build their skills as an educator.

About the Role



Acorns provides care for babies, children and young people, who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, both in our hospices and in their homes. Our care teams are part of a supportive, multi-disciplinary team delivering care packages that are tailored to each child's individual holistic needs.

As a Trainee Clinical Practice Educator, you will:

Support the development and delivery of an education plan that supports Acorns strategy and workforce development Work with clinical teams to ensure clinical competency and skills development to support delivery of evidence-based care Develop, deliver and evaluate digital and face-to-face learning packages Complete an education/teaching qualification

About You



Registered Healthcare Professional Knowledge of the training cycle Knowledge of safeguarding children IT literate
