The Role

Oakley Property is seeking a proactive individual, experienced in sales or customer service, to join our established Commercial Agency and Surveying team based in the North Laine HQ. This is an ideal opportunity for a self-starter who is looking to gain experience within the commercial property and professional service sectors.

Oakley Property has been established for over 30 years, as an independent firm of estate agents and chartered surveyors. Offering a comprehensive Estate Agency, Letting and Property Management service, in relation to both commercial and residential property, across Sussex.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Conduct property viewings, inspections across various sectors such as Retail, Industrial Units, and Office Space. Research market comparables to assist both the commercial agency and professional services departments. Prepare marketing materials such as brochures, CRM listings, and online portal advertisements. Liaise with clients, landlords, tenants and other B2B contacts. Complete property inspections and reports in line with RICS standards. Undergo training and development in Commercial Property services.

Required Skills & Experience

Full clean drivers licence. Excellent communication skills including written English, with a fine attention to detail when conducting administrative duties. Well versed in the Microsoft Office 365 Suite and confident in using new software and CRM systems. Ability to work as part of a team and by yourself and prioritise workload in a busy team environment. A self-motivated individual, with the ability to negotiate and drive sales to a successful and timely conclusion. Professionally presented with a professional manner and excellent client-facing skills. Experience within the property industry preferred but not essential.
