Edinmore Contracts Ltd are the leading insurance reinstatement contractor in Scotland, delivering a comprehensive all-trades service to the insurance sector across East and West Central Scotland for over 20 years. We specialise in property reinstatement works following escape of water, flood, storm and fire damage, using our own tradespeople alongside a trusted network of subcontractors.

Due to continued growth within our Grangemouth and Chapelhall branches, we are seeking to recruit a

Trainee Contracts Manager

. This role is suited to an individual at the early stages of their career who is looking to develop into a Contracts Manager role within a busy and professional insurance reinstatement environment.

The Role



Working closely with experienced Contracts Managers, you will receive hands-on training and support to develop the skills required to manage insurance repair projects from instruction through to completion. Responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the management of insurance reinstatement claims from inception to completion Supporting the planning and coordination of labour using in-house trades and subcontractors Assisting with ordering materials and monitoring costs against budgets Helping prepare risk assessments, method statements and relevant CDM documentation Liaising with clients, customers, suppliers and our team of in-house Surveyors and operational colleagues Assisting with reporting, record-keeping and general contract administration Developing a strong understanding of quality standards, customer service and health & safety compliance

About You



We are looking for a motivated, organised and professional individual who is keen to learn and progress. You are likely to demonstrate:

A good understanding of construction processes and site activities Awareness of current Health & Safety requirements (training will be provided) Strong communication, numeracy and IT skills Good organisational and time-management abilities A proactive, flexible and problem-solving approach A customer-focused attitude with the ability to build positive working relationships
Previous experience within construction, property services or insurance reinstatement would be beneficial but is

not essential
