Trainee Coverage Surveyor
Job Description
Main Purpose of Role
The successful applicant will initially be trained to carry out coverage surveys and the report write-ups. And those with the right attitude, ability and willingness to learn will ultimately be trained in all aspects of in-building cellular design.
Based at our Camberley offices the role will necessitate travel throughout the UK. Once trained the successful candidates will be asked to work alone and must therefore be self-motivated and be prepared to travel long distances involving nights away from home. A full driving licence is therefore essential - the use of a company van will be provided.
Main responsibilities
Trainee Coverage Surveyor
(Special Coverage)1. Complete coverage surveys of buildings throughout the UK, using specialist test equipment provided.
2. Process the data from the surveys into a customer facing report.
3. Assisting design team on design/handover.
4. To support the design team in performing their day-to-day duties, including design and handover surveys.
5. Once competent, carry out physical maintenance & installation of various telecommunications equipment.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
No telecoms knowledge required; training will be provided.
A to C GCSE in Maths, English and Science.
Good level of competency with Microsoft Office.
Good communications skills.
Ability to work in a team.
Ability to obtain a successful background check.
Salary and Benefits
Salary - 24k PA.
Inclusion in company bonus scheme following successful completion of probation period.
Use of a company van when travelling for work purposes.
