We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for patient care.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment prior to procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Communicate effectively with patients to explain treatment plans and address any concerns. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice. Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and follow up on their recovery. Support the dental team in maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements

Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to ensure clear communication with patients and colleagues. Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments. Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Previous experience in a dental practice is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
