We are seeking an Apprentice Dental Nurse for a full-time role at our mixed NHS/Private practice in the beautiful village of Broseley.

We will register the ideal candidate on a Dental Nurse course however we will also consider candidates who may already be registered for a Dental Nurse apprentice position.

We are a busy two surgery fully computerised practice using SOE software, digital x rays, as well as an intraoral scanner. We are looking for a well organised hard working team player to join our friendly team.

The role of an apprentice dental nurse is to assist the dentist / hygienist with all clinical aspects within the surgery including:

Greet and care for all patients in a polite and courteous manner at all times Work closely with the dentist/hygienist in a professional and appropriate manner Provide chair side assistance during all treatments Update computer records Cleaning surgeries to a high level, maintaining strict cross infection controls Preparing instruments and materials during treatments Carry out reception and administrative tasks where required The successful candidate must be reliable, organised, with good communication skills, computer literate, and keen to learn You must be of a smart and professional appearance at all times and have a positive attitude Be a team player, always willing to help the team as a whole succeed A willingness to learn Be willing to work towards an NVQ in Level 3 in Dental Nursing Regular undertaking of continued professional development

GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English

Pay: From 7.55 per hour
