We are expanding , so with that, an excellent and exciting opportunity to start a new career has arisen for a Part-Time Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly Team for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (See hours below)

Steeple Dental LTD T/as Claydon Dental (The Old Bakery) in Steeple Claydon near Buckingham is a well-established practice in the heart of the village Steeple Claydon with over 35 years of experience providing excellent private dental care to thousands of patients every week and for the surrounding communities.

Yourself:

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will be a great advocate for building relationships and rapport with our patients and visitors by providing excellent patient care alongside our Clinicians to our patients in the practice or by telephone.

The Role:

General daily duties will include:

Preparing instruments, materials and maintaining stock levels for various treatments, Provide excellent chair side assistance whilst ensuring the highest levels of patient care and professionalism at all times Responsible for infection control in the surgery Decontamination of instruments Cleaning Observe patient confidentiality at all times Attend and participate in practice meetings. Promoting a professional image and being knowledgeable about the services the practice has to offer. Providing patients of the practice with a warm friendly welcome and making them feel at ease at all times. Answering the telephone in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner. Taking payments and recording them correctly. Offering Oral Hygiene and Sundry products to patients giving advice where necessary in accordance with the practice clinicians.

Your Experience:

Having worked in a similar role in a Dental Practice or Care Setting, you will have all the positive and caring attributes required to provide high-quality patient care and needs to our practice.

You will also have;

- Be prepared to be placed on an Apprenticeship Course by us in Dental Nursing

- Full chairside training will be given

- Highly motivated, friendly, go above and beyond, reliable and organized.

- Essential but not a requirement as full training will be provided; Dental Procedures, Intra-oral scanning using iTero for all laboratory work and Intra and Extra- Oral Photography

- Access to our on-site Beauty Salon as part of our wellness programme

Hours:

- Tuesday 8.30am - 5.30pm

- Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm

- Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm
