We are seeking a

full-time Trainee Dental Nurse

We're a well-established private dental practice in the heart of Canton, specialising in cosmetic dentistry. We're looking for a friendly and motivated Dental Nurse to join our supportive team. About the role:

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work closely with our dentists, therapists and hygienists, assisting during treatments, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. You will attend a training course (fully funded by us) to gain your official qualification.

Requirements:

GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade A-C or equivalent) preferred but not essential Friendly, professional, and organised Able to work well as part of a team Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members. Willingness to learn and undertake training Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Must be available to work 2 Saturday's per month.

Duties

Assist our practitioners during various dental procedures, ensuring that the patient is comfortable and informed throughout the process. Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems effectively. Provide excellent patient care by answering queries, offering reassurance, and educating patients about oral health practices. Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise patient flow and minimise waiting times. Ensure the dental practice is clean, organised, and compliant with infection control protocols.
