to join our friendly dental practice in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in dentistry. Full training will be provided, including support toward a recognised dental nursing qualification.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures
Preparing and sterilising instruments and equipment
Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised clinical environment
Providing reassurance and support to patients before, during, and after treatment
Recording and updating patient notes accurately
Following all infection control, health, and safety guidelines
Supporting reception duties when required, including booking appointments and greeting patients
Working toward and completing a dental nursing qualification
Requirements
A genuine interest in dentistry and patient care
At least one year's dental experience
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn and undertake formal training
Ability to work well as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Basic IT skills
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred, but not essential
