We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment process.

Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by welcoming patients, taking medical histories, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice, maintaining a clean and organised environment. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients. Utilise IT systems for record keeping and appointment management, demonstrating proficiency in relevant software.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. Demonstrated organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A background in nursing or healthcare is advantageous, along with a genuine passion for patient care. Familiarity with IT systems relevant to dental practice operations will be beneficial.
