Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients at all times. Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories, using IT systems effectively. Communicate clearly with patients regarding their treatments, answering any questions they may have to alleviate concerns. Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and ensure they understand the importance of follow-up appointments. Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organised workflow within the practice. Support the dental team in maintaining a clean and tidy working environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to ensure effective communication with patients and colleagues. Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A compassionate approach towards patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all individuals visiting the practice.
