Job Description

We are looking for either a qualified or trainee dental nurse to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Monday -8.00am - 5pm or 8.30am to 5.30pm or 9am-6pm with a later finish at 7pm once per month

Tuesday - 8.00am - 5.00pm or 8.30am to 5.30pm

Friday - 8.00am - 5.00pm

This role covers working in decon as well as nursing with our hygienists and dentists.

Key Tasks

Set-up and prepare the surgery for the type of patient and treatment planned before the start of each session Clean and sterilise all equipment and working surfaces to the required standards at the end of each session Prepare the necessary materials and instruments Ensure safe disposal of sharps and clinical waste Keep all clinical areas including sterilising/OPG room clean and tidy and assist in the correct procedure for dental radiography Provide clinical assistance to the dentist [hygienist/therapist] while treating the patient, acting under his/her supervision Assist the dentist or hygienist in the completion of patient records
Salary: dependent on experience, starting from 12.21 for trainees
