We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready. Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients. Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts as required. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed in line with health and safety regulations. Support patients with their queries, offering reassurance and clear communication throughout their visit. Manage appointment schedules efficiently, confirming upcoming appointments and organising follow-up visits. Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment within the practice.

Qualifications

Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare setting; previous experience as a Dental Nurse is advantageous but not essential. Good command of English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Basic knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care. Competent IT skills for managing patient records and appointment systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to reassure patients and work collaboratively with colleagues. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. This role requires a professional attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to support patients through their dental journey.
