Job Description

South Cliff Dental Group are looking for 2 committed Trainee Dental Nurses to join our Dental nursing team in our Dover practice. We are a rapidly growing organisation always looking to support and nurture staff, with progression opportunities available. This is based on capability, willingness to learn and adaptability.

Roles and responsibilities

Provide high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, in all procedures, in a safe and effective manner.

Follow practice policies and procedures

Undertake CPD in line with the GDC guidelines

Establish, promote and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the dental team

Assist with the supervision of trainee dental nurses in the practice

Assist with reception duties and perform other clerical duties if required

Key tasks

Prepare and maintain the clinical environment, including the equipment

Keep full, accurate and contemporaneous patient records and ensure that they are stored securely

Process dental radiographs

Monitor, support and reassure patients

Support the patient and your colleagues if there is an emergency

Requirements

Adv DBS clearance (provided by the company)

Proof of right to work in UK (If not a UK citizen)

2 professional references will be required

Photo ID / Proof of residence x 2

Hourly pay - depending on experience.

Full time - 40 hours a week

Experience:

Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

GDC (preferred)
