We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse with practice experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental practitioners in delivering high-quality dental services. Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and sterilized.
Record patient information accurately, including medical history and treatment plans, while ensuring confidentiality.
Provide support and reassurance to patients before, during, and after treatments to enhance their comfort and understanding of procedures.
Manage appointment schedules, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling appointments as necessary.
Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records, processing payments, and managing inventory of dental supplies.
Stay updated with the latest dental practices and technologies through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) is preferred.
Previous experience in a dental practice is advantageous but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates willing to learn.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues alike.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in both clinical and administrative tasks.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor.
