We are currently looking to recruit an apprentice dental nurse to join our team at Ferndale Dental Practice

The Candidate

As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you will provide a key role in supporting dentists to provide high quality care to our patients. Providing calm reassurance to anxious patients, you will possess excellent nursing skills and people skills and a real attention to detail. The Apprenticeship reflects all aspects of clinical responsibilities and duties of a dental nurse's role, we will support the candidate with the relevant qualification to apply to the General Dental Council (GDC) for professional registration as a dental nurse. Providing chairside support to dentists and establish ways of working to deliver a high level of patient care. Supporting clinicians to ensure surgery sessions run efficiently and on time. Supporting and reassuring nervous patients. Maintaining high standards of infection control in line with the group's clinical governance policies and procedures. Completing instrument decontamination processes. You can work as an apprentice dental nurse without academic qualifications - "earn whilst you learn."
Your Experience

Good social skills and ability to work within a team A caring attitude is essential Training will be provided on Exact (SOE) dental computer software Registration with the General Dental Council on completion of training course
