We are looking for skilled individual to join our expanding team as a trainee dental nurse. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dentistry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a team player. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist to ensure efficient and effective treatment delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic independently owned dental practice and make a positive impact on the health of our patients.

We are hiring for our new dental practice opening in south of Hereford.

Full training will be given and you will also be enrolled onto a College course. You will be given time to complete your course work during work time and will achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Dental nursing.

The hours are Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm. We will consider part time applications also for at least 3 days a week.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment
- Process dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain dental materials, such as composite fillings and impression materials
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Maintain a clean and organised dental environment

Requirements:
- Good communication and English Language skills
- Computer skills
- Willing to complete DBS check
- Ability to work well in a team environment

- GGSE Grade 4 and above or Functional Skills Level 2 in both Maths and English, although if you're over 19 this isn't required
