We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed throughout their treatment. Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment before and after procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans using practice management software. Communicate effectively with patients to explain treatment options, answer questions, and provide post-treatment care instructions. Support the administrative team with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the clinic. Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring that all materials are readily available for use during procedures. Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in dental nursing.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in dental nursing or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting. Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Proficiency in IT systems for managing patient records and scheduling appointments. Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience as a nurse or within a healthcare role is advantageous but not essential.
