Dentistry @ Jordanhill is a friendly, modern dental practice providing NHS and private care. We are looking for a motivated

Trainee Dental Nurse

to join our supportive team for

3 days per week

.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to begin their dental nursing career in a welcoming, patient-focused environment.

About the Role

Part-time:

3 days per week

Initial working days will be confirmed at offer stage

Working days may vary depending on practice needs

We always provide

reasonable notice (typically 4 weeks)

for planned rota changes Occasionally, short-notice day swaps may be requested to cover absence -- these are

optional

While this role is contracted for 3 days per week, there may be occasional opportunities to work additional days to cover sickness or annual leave, if you wish

Please note:

This role requires general availability across weekdays and

may not suit candidates who are only available on specific fixed days

.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting dentists and clinicians with all aspects of patient care Preparing surgeries and sterilising instruments Supporting reception when required Following infection control procedures Completing coursework for the SVQ leading to GDC registration

About You

Friendly, reliable and eager to learn Good communication and teamwork skills Organised, caring and professional Comfortable with occasional changes in day pattern when required No previous dental experience needed -- full training provided
