We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join Pateley Bridge Dental Practice. The successful candidate will provide essential support to dentists during patient treatments, ensuring a high standard of patient care and maintaining a smooth clinical operation. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials before appointments
Sterilise and maintain dental equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions, ensuring they understand care procedures
Record detailed patient information accurately using IT systems
Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient records management
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic clinical environment at all times
Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
Qualifications
Minimum of Grade C in GCSE Maths and English
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Good IT literacy, including familiarity with dental practice management software
Knowledge of nursing principles and practices relevant to dental care is advantageous
Ability to use initiative and work in a self motivated-manner
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
A caring attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional patient service
