We are offering an exciting opportunity for a trainee Dental Nurse to join our busy private dental practice and work within a friendly, experienced and skilled team.
The main role of a Dental Nurse is to:
Duties
- Assist the dentist during patient examinations and treatments
- Prepare and maintain the dental surgery for various procedures
- Provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during dental procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality
- Sterilise dental instruments and equipment
- Manage stock levels of dental materials and supplies
In-house training and support will be provided with a view to enrolment on a Dental Nursing course following assessment and review after a probationary period.
Dental nursing requires a number of skills including efficient organizational and time management, excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as an aptitude for learning. In addition, a warm, compassionate and caring nature is essential and a flexible and helpful approach to working within a team.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Math and English
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- Basic IT skills for maintaining digital records and using dental software
Hours: Monday to Friday (including 1 evening) 38 hours per week
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
