We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in Dentistry. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be trained to play a vital role in providing excellent patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

Full or Part Time hours are available - we can be flexible to see what works best for everyone, competitive pay and training will be provided.

Duties:

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Manage appointment schedules, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling patient appointments as necessary. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure seamless workflow and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but definitely not essential; all training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, to communicate clearly with patients and colleagues. A genuine passion for patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is advantageous. Relevant nursing qualifications or certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
